GoodTable handles your data under Canada’s PIPEDA. Here’s the short version.

Identity verification

To keep ordering trustworthy, customers verify a mobile number (one-time code) and a selfie. Your selfie is stored encrypted, is only ever shown to a restaurant while you have an active order with them, and is automatically deleted after about 30 days. We capture explicit consent before storing it, and you can request deletion at any time.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe directly to each restaurant. GoodTable never sees or stores your card details.

What restaurants see

A restaurant you order from sees your name, phone, order details, and — only while your order is active — your verification selfie, so they can match you at pickup.
